Apologies.

Simply inconsistent. I apologize. I know I wrote that I would be more consistent with blogging and I simply have not. Truthfully it has just been laziness! I am really going to try and do better. I have been reading blogs of my friends all day and I have just been in amazement of all the things I have learned today. Well tomorrow is a new day and will be the beginning of a new me :) I promise...

SUSHI!! YUM!

I will start writing today by saying that I am craving sushi. I crave it about once a week (which is quite sad I must admit). My love with sushi began quite some time ago... I actually can no actually recall the first time I tasted the delectable goodness but I know that it stuck with me forever at that first bite. I am planning on saving my pennies this week to see if I can maybe go and get some with an old friend. Currently as we read and type I am in the works of planning a sushi date :) YES...

On to an update on life. I am still searching for that opportunity! That one chance to break into the career world. I know there is something is out there and I am praying that it will happen sooner than later. I have applied for what I feel like are basic entry level job but I guess not because you need like 12 years experience to be an office assistant. Well okay not exactly 12 years but I mean no offense to office assistants out there but I know I can do their job. I honestly feel like going to college was almost a weird backwards decision with the way the economy is. For all of those people wondering I graduated with a B.A. in Communications emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. Public Relations isnt exactly the easiest profession to get into. You need a lot of experience before you can make it to a place where you are actually going to make good money. I have interned with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County while in college and I loved it but it unfortunately was not enough experience to land me a full time position. I am actually at a place where I just want to work at a place that requires some brain energy and I can use some skill. So I will continue to pray and be open to the opportunities that God lays before me :)...

Dear Lord,
Please let the economy turn around so more college graduates can find work :) AMEN :)

(P.S. Thanks to Erin for reminding me to write this post)

My Blogging Inspirations.... (Dedicated to Kasey and Erin)

Well well well... I admit I am the type of person who always starts projects yet never finishes them. A while ago I wanted to start blogging and did one post.... then it was over. So sad, I know. So here I am trying again!

Recently while browsing my Facebook page I came across an old friend who had started a blog... Miss Kasey Lynn. I read some of her post and automatically felt closer to her. Kasey, is the older sister of my bestest high school friend Erin. Though Kasey and I have known each other for years with her being older than me I didn't know too much about her personal life. While reading her blog I just loved her honesty. She writes as if she has nothing to hide and I like the fact she has no problem being transparent. So thank you Kasey for sparking my interest again in writing.

Then I read that Erin started a blog. Oh my dear Erin. You make me so happy. I am so saddened that you moved so far away! Erin was my sunshine during high school. She made my everyday so much better. I know anyone who knows her would say without a doubt she is absolutely an amazing woman. I feel blessed to call her my friend. I am so glad she is starting a blog to keep family and friends updated on her life. I will definitely be reading that on a regular basis. Thank you blogger.com and blackberry messenger for helping me keep in contact with her!!

Well now there is me. I will try and keep up this blog on a regular basis. But I do warn you.... the post may be random and some rants every now and there but I will try and keep it fun for you to read!! Wish me luck!!

Playoffs and Hospital Visits

I thought that I would give this blogging thing another try! The title of this entry says it all!! My day was quite interested was the first person at my internship to set up for a meeting where someone fainted! Oh my!! That got me thinking about the recent chest pain I have been having! Last night it was so unbearable I woke up my boyfriend because I was very afraid that something was wrong! I decided to listen to my body and go ahead and go to the hospital. I had not made an appointment because I just thought I would just visit urgent care. I felt that it was early enough in the day where it wouldn't be too crowded, I was SOOOO WRONG! I got to the doctor around 2:45 I was not seen by a doctor until atleast 4ish. After a quick recap I was sent to xray. I did not see a doctor again until about 6:40 p.m. Let me say that again i spent about 3 and a half hours for a xray. All for the doctor to tell me I have a strained chest muscle! I just need to take aspirin. I couldn't wait to get home! Now I come home and guess what I get to watch, PLAYOFFS!! True, I was a basketball player all through out high school but I do not understand why guys have to watch every single play off game even the games that their favorite team isnt even participating in! I have almost filled up my DVR space with recorded shows since the playoffs started I just feel so behind! But trust me watching the Lakers is way better than sitting in a hospital waiting room getting coughed on!!

Sidenote: I am almost a college graduate and I do not know what to do with myself! Success here I come!
